Even though this year’s running on the BetVictor Gold Cup being held over at Cheltenham isn’t scheduled to be run until three o’clock on the 17th of November, there has already been a fair bit of support for several of the runners in that race.
However, having said that the money is coming in and being spread around several horses in dribs and drabs, which means sites like Ladbrokes are offering some extremely attractive odds on all horses, and therefore you need to get yourself over there if you do want to bag some high odds, before the general public start betting on that race as its starting time gets much closer.
The ante post betting markets on the Gold Cup are interesting to say the least at Ladbrokes, for they are not only offering some value packed win odds but their each-way terms are decent too which will see you getting one quarter of the win odds and being paid out to four places too.
It is Mister Whitaker that they have chalked up as the current favourite, but even though it is favourite its odds are 12/1 are impressive, so if you are a favourite backer then get your money down sooner rather than later, but some of the other fancied runners are available at even bigger odds.
King’s Socks Interesting at 14/1!
You will soon discover that it is King’s Socks and a few other runners that are pencilled in as the current second favourites to win the BetVictor Gold Cup when checking out the Ladbrokes ante post betting markets, and if that is a horse you have been following then you will want to continue backing it I’m sure when you hear that Ladbrokes are going 14/1 on it!
The other joint second favourites include Full Glass and Rather Be, and I don’t suppose many punters will be too surprised if either of those two other horses manage to win this race this year, and there are also a few 16/1 shots that would get their heads up in front and win this year including the likes of Foxtail Hill, Ballyandy, Tully East, Hell’s Kitchen and also The Storyteller too!
Magic Saint an Each-Way Value Bet
I also do have to say that I fancy the chances of Magic Saint at 20/1. However, as far as 10/1 shots go there are plenty of them to pick and choose from including Barney Dwan, Peregrine Run, Movewiththetimes, Le Prezien, Benatar and Ibis Du Rheu.
Modus and Willie Boy could be a couple of horses that could do well in the race this year and also Charbel, Splash Of Ginge, Jameson, Any Second Now and Ballyhill are also in with a slim chance and each of those horses can be backed currently at odds of 25/1/
I doubt any of the other runners are going to worry those listed above, however a case could be made for three others I suppose, and they are Guitar Pete, The West’s Awake and also The Unit and if you do fancy any of those three horses chances of winning they are very easy to back at odds of 33/1!
