The Grand National race meeting is an annual event that this year is being staged over three days, the action will start with Grand National Thursday on the 4th of April, then the following day is Ladies Day and then Grand National Day is on Saturday the 6th of April.
It is of course on Saturday that the Randox sponsored running of the 2019 Grand National will be run and all betting sites worth their salt have now opened their ante post betting markets on that race, and there are some overly generous odds available on all runners, if you are prepared to place your bets on that race early.
BetFred are famed for their promotional offers, and if you haven’t yet signed up to their website do make sure you make use of their welcome bonus offer, which will be yours when you click through any of our links to their impressive looking betting site.
Below I will be giving you an insight into the odds being offered by that bookie on all of the fancied runners in that race, and also be aware that they are offering one quarter of the win odds to four places to those of you thinking of placing an each-way bet on that race.
Joint Favourites
The early betting markets do not really give you an indication of just which one horse is currently being backed, but there are two currently joint favourites that are available at some fairly hefty odds right now.
Those horses are Tiger Roll and Rathvinden so if you do fancy backing the current ante post favourites to win this year’s Grand National then now is certainly a great time to back other of them or even both of them for they are being offered at huge odds of 10/1, and the value is there for the taking.
Horses worth an Each-Way Punt
It may also be worth you taking a few chances on some of the next few horses in the betting, and placing an each-way bet on some of them, for those high odds currently attached to the much more fancied runners are bound to get shorter as the day of the race approaches.
The second favourite and one that I just know plenty of punters will be backing each-way is Elegant Escape at 16/1 o do consider placing a bet on that horse if you fancy its chances.
Then you have the likes of General Principle, Mall Dini, Vintage Clouds and Anibale Fly all on offer at odds of 20/1 in the betting and its fair and true to say that any of them could run into a place this year.
You will also find horses such as Captain Redbeard, Bristol De Mai, Abolitionist, Ms Parfois and Warriors Tale and Walk In The Mill at 25/1, in fact there are loads of other horses at odds of 25/1 and they do all have a great chance of running into a place at the very least if not winning the Grand National this year.
