Best Greyhound Bets of the Day

I have two greyhound betting markets that I feel you may be interested in placing a bet on today, and it is over at Ladbrokes that you are going to find those betting markets, all of which are being offered with some industry low over-rounds.

That means there are some true valued bets being offered on each of them and if you are thinking of signing up to a new betting site and you haven’t yet signed up to Ladbrokes by you using our website links to do so you will be rewarded with an exclusive offer.

That offer comes with some very fair and reasonable terms and conditions that you can read through and check out once you arrive on their website.

Steel City Cup Betting

It will be at 19:42 tomorrow night the 2nd of October that you are going to be able to watch the final race in the Steel City Cup, and Ladbrokes do have some very tempting odds chalked up on their ante post betting market for that major greyhound race it does have to be said.

You can of course choose to back any of the six greyhounds in that race to win or back them each-way and by doing the latter Ladbrokes are going one quarter of the win odds on each-way bets on greyhounds that finish first or second in the Steel City Cup final.

The race is being broadcast live at several betting site and the commentary of that race will also be on offer to you at Ladbrokes, but if you fancy watching the race in person, then it will be at the Sheffield greyhound track that you will have to make your way to.

As for the current favourite to win that is of course the multi-talented greyhound that is Roxholme Nidge, Ladbrokes are convinced like many other punters are, that it will win and as such they are not taking too many chances on its odds as they are going 1/2!

The second favourite greyhound to win the Steel City Cup is Nadurra Ross, and it will not take much for that greyhound to get its head up in front, and if it can, if there is any bumping around the first and possibly second bends then it is sure to be in the mix-up and its odds if you fancy backing it right now are 5/1.

Roxholme Ray is the third favourite, and whilst admittedly that greyhound is going to need quite a bit of luck in running, if the two above greyhounds do get caught up in any trouble then it is Roxholme Ray that should cash in on that trouble and it can be backed at odds of 6/1.

It has always been the case that anything can and possibly will happen when a greyhound race in being run, and if you are of the mind that it will be one of the outsiders that will win this race this year then consider backing the likes of Airfield Penny at 10/1, Dropzone at 12/1 or go for gold and hope the complete outsider with romp home, that being Down To The Felt who is fairly easy to back right now at odds of 16/1!

SIS St Leger

You have a week to wait until the SIS St Leger is being staged over at the Doncaster greyhound track, and there is quite a lot of money being placed on several of the greyhounds that will be taking part in the heats of that event.

There are of course plenty of greyhounds that will be taking their chances in the SIS St Leger this year and Ladbrokes are offering you both an outright winner betting market of you can back any of the greyhounds on that currently live betting market each-way instead.

As for the terms you will get when backing any greyhound to win or get placed in the SIS St Leger Ladbrokes as always are giving you the very best terms and they are one quarter of the win odds if your greyhound finishes in any of the top three positions on that event.

There are currently two greyhounds that are attracting the highest volumes of cash on this ante post SIS St Leger betting market over at the Ladbrokes betting site and they are Droopys Live and Calico Ranger who are both currently on offer and available at odds of 5/1.

However, trading at 11/2 you have Ridgedale Max who certainly does have an outstanding chance of winning or even getting placed in this event, in fact the same can also be said for the current 6/1 shot that being Roxholme Poppy.

Watch your bets If you fancy placing a bet on the 7/1 shot Bombers Bullet or the 8/1 shot Baroness Bullet for it will be way too easy to get those two greyhounds mixed up, you can also back Swift Hansel at 10/1 which is  fair a reasonable set of odds considering its current set of form figures.

The further you look down the ante post betting market over at Ladbrokes on this major greyhound event the bigger and much more tempting the odds will become and with that in mind let me quickly look at some of the mid-priced greyhounds that could just scrape into a top three position in the final.

They are the 12/1 shots those being both Slippy Maggie and Affleck Bolt and currently trading at odds of a very appealing 20.1 are the likes of Keplar Nine and Looking Sharp.

I you are prepared to back some of the outsiders either to win or each-way then there is plenty of value waiting to be mopped up on greyhounds such as the 25/1 Swift Tarquin, and also on the 33/1 shot Goldies Hotspur.

You can also get odds of 50/1 on the likes of Master Kelly, Headford Maurice and Raceway Fly and as for the current rank outsider that is completely friendless in the betting markets that is of course Tellhersomething at 66/1.

Be aware though that as this market is live the odds on any of the above names greyhounds can and possibly will change at any time!
