This year’s Becher Handicap Chase at Aintree is a very tricky one to try and make sense of, for it does have to be said that whilst there are of course plenty of horses that could win, there is no one horse that does stand out head and tail over all others.
That does of course mean the bookies are offering some much higher odds than they usually do on that race, and one site, that being Ladbrokes, have got that race up and listed on their ante post betting markets right now, so there is some value waiting to get mopped up by punters, that’s for sure.
They are also going to be paying out to four places on winning each-way bets on the Becher Handicap Chase which by the way is being held at Aintree this coming Saturday and will be starting at 13:30 and you will get one quarter of the odds on those each-way bets too at Ladbrokes.
The one horse that has been attracting some support, so much so that it is now the current favourite to win that race, but only just, is Ballyoptic and at 9/2 it is certainly a horse you should consider backing and possibly backing each-way too over at Ladbroke thanks to those generous each-way betting terms.
However, there are plenty of other horses that wouldn’t have to improve their form a great deal to win this race faced with the opposition in it, and one that I do know many punters out there think is a rock solid bet is Blaklion and at 6/1 those odds are going to prove too tempting for punters in the next couple of days.
The Last Samuri is one horse that may soon become favourite is punters do latch onto its chances of winning, but by betting now you may still be able to secure the current odds of 7/1 that Ladbrokes have it chalked up at, but as this ante post betting market is live those odds are going to be subject to change at any time, and may start to drop sooner rather than later too!
One other horse that you will spot fairly high up on the ante post betting markets at most betting sites is Theatre Territory, and much like the horse above it is available to be backed at reasonable odds given its outstanding chance of at the very least getting placed of 7/1.
Many savvy each-way sharks are having bets on that horse, so there is some confidence surrounding it, but whether it will win of course does remain to be seen, but it could sneak into one of the four places for sure.
The Rest of the Becher Handicap Chase Field
I can’t put you off backing any horse you do fancy to win this race, for looking at the makeup of the race any horse could of course spring a surprise.
So with that in mind let me pass onto you the details of the other horses in this race along with their current ante post odds, but any significant money between now and Saturday will of course see the following odds drop in value, much like the horses named above.
Crosshue Boy is one of three 12/1 shots, and the other two to consider backing are Present Man and Vieux Lion Rouge, as for 14/1 shots there are also currently there of them too and they are Calett Mad, Don Poli who a handful of punters are convinced will make the frame and get placed this year along with General Principle too.
The strangely named Rock the Kasbah along with Noble Endeavor, Missed Approach, Ultragold and Monbeg Notorious cannot be separated on the ante post betting market at Ladbrokes for they are all on offer at the same odds of 16/1.
Go Conquer isn’t without a slim chance of getting placed is everything falls into play in the running of this race and that horse along with Kimberlite Candy and Highland Lodge are all easy to back right now at odds of 20/1.
Warrior’s Tale is a risky horse to follow, but you could be tempted to have a small each-way bet on it at its current odds of 25/1 and a few other horses available at the same odds are Fine Theatre, Call It Magic and Walk in the Mill.
Whether or not a 33/1 horse is going to win the Becher Handicap Chase this year does remain to be seen but there are two of them to pick form and they are Exitas and Regal Flow.
I think it’s very fair and true to say that the rest of the field have very little if any chance of winning his race, but the odds attached and on offer on them could tempt a few of you out there who look for high odds rather than the raw form of a horse.
Therefore the outsiders and those many people are going to write off as complete no hopers include Just A Par and Federici at odds of 40/1 and Dare To Endeavour and Mustmeetalady who are two friendless horses on the ante post betting markets and can be easily backed at huge odds of 50/1.
There is of course the chance that you have never bet at the Ladbrokes betting site before, and if you are an avid horse race punter then it is a betting site that you are always going to find plenty of ante post betting markets on offer.
Use any of the links displayed around the website to get to their betting site and you then instantly qualify for their new customer sign up bonus offer, and will also find plenty of daily horses racing promotional offers and deals then also come your way.
Those offers can take the form of consolation bets, best odds guarantees along with odds boosted too, so make sure you at the very least spend a few minutes looking over the Ladbrokes betting site website sooner rather than later!
