Bet on the UCI World Championship Road Race

The Tour de France has of course been over for quite some time now, but one race that is up and coming and one that is sure to offer you a plethora of unique betting opportunities is the UCI World Championship Road Race.

That race is scheduled to start at 9:40am on the 30th of September and as such as betting sites such as William Hill have now made live their early betting markets on that race, if you do fancy planning your betting activities on that race nice and early, now is an ideal time to do just that!

It is always interesting to check out the early betting markets on this particular race and one thing that sadly you often notice is that one rider will be such a red-hot favourite his odds will be very low and often short odds on too!

However, there is something of a refreshing change this year for it is true to say it is a very pen race this year, so much so that William Hill’s odds compilers have had a few problems trying to separate two particular riders!

But they have finally come to the conclusion that both Alejandro Valverde and Jualian Alaphilippe are the most likely winners of this race and have them on offer as joint favorites both with odds of 4/1 attached to them!

Primoz Roglic a Fair Bet Too!

As the odds are not what I would call way too low on those two favorites to win this race this year, that does of course mean there is not a great deal of confidence that either of them will come out on top, and as such it may pay dividends for you to look elsewhere when it comes to picking out a winner of this race.

One rider that I do quiet fancy the chances of this year is Primoz Roglic and it would certainly be no surprise if he did manage to win this event this year, and if you do want to back him then now is the time to do so as William Hill are currently offering huge odds on him winning of 10/1!

Each-Way Backers Get One Quarter the Odds to 3 Places!

One other aspect of choosing William Hill to place a bet on this major cycling race this year is that that are offering punters the option of instead of backing a rider to win outright, placing an each-way bet instead.

Therefore with some much higher and bigger odds on offer on all other riders and as you will get one quarter of the win odds to three places as the terms on each-way bets place on this race at William Hill then there are a few riders who are worth backing each-way.

They include the likes of Simon Yates at 14/1 and also Tim Wellens and Wouter Poels at 22/1 or if you fancy some much bigger odds consider a bet on riders such as Enric Mas and Tom Dumoulin at 25/1 as all of them do have a very fair and reasonable chance of being placed this year!
