Betting on the Canadian Grand Prix

Those of you sports bettors out there that enjoy placing bets and wagers on Grand Prix races, well on Sunday the 9th of June this year the very next one is scheduled to take place, and that is of course the Canadian Grand Prix.

As for just which drivers are being backed on the ante post betting markets, well it isn’t going to surprise too many of you out there to discover that it is Lewis Hamilton that is heading all betting markets and his win odds are currently round the 23/20 mark.

There is another driver that has as usual been attracting a fair bit of support on the ante post betting markets for the Canadian Grand Prix, and that driver is Valtteri Bottas, who to be fair does look something of a rock-solid bet at his current outright winner odds of 9/4.

Most of the other drivers are being offered at double digit odds to win this race at least, however two drivers that are on offer at single digit odds who may land a surprise in this race are Sebastian Vettel at 7/2 and Charles Leclerc at 5/1.

Best Each-Way Betting Terms

You will not just be restricted to placing an outright winner bet on any of the drivers that you think is in with a chance of winning this years running of the Canadian Grand Prix, for there are plenty of bookies that will be offering their own unique set of each-way betting terms.

One bookie that do it has to be said has some tempting each-way betting terms is the Coral Sportsbook, who are paying out to two places and at one third of the win odds to punters placing an each-way bet on that race.

Much Lower Ranked Drivers

You are going to have to be a brave or foolhardy type of punter to want to back any of the other drivers taking part in the Canadian Grand Prix, for the chances of any other drivers winning or for that matter getting placed are tiny.

However, there are always going to be some punters out there that will be tempted by high odds, and as such allow me to give you an insight into just how high the odds are on some of the other drivers.

You can back Max Verstappen at 16/1, but then the odds begin to jump massively on all other drivers, for example you an back Pierre Gasly is 100/1, or take a huge chance on the likes of Daniel Ricciardo, Kevin Magnussen, Nico Hulkenberg and Romain Grosjean who are all very easy to back at  odds of 750/1.
