The BMW Championship PGA Tour is taking place this year at the Aronimink Golf Club and is running from the 6th of September right through until the 9th of September, and with a mind blowing $9,000,000 purse, as you would expect it has attracted some of the very best golfer in the world to take part in it.

In this best bets of the day betting guide I am going to be giving you an insight into some major upcoming matches that are being played in the tournament and pointing you in the direction of the golfers that are the most likely to win each match and letting you know the best odds available on each of them too.

I will also be letting you know what odds are available on the early outright betting market on the BMW Championship PGA Tour, so if you have a feeling one golfer is going to win that event outright then you need to act quickly to secure the best odds possible.

To ensure you are going to be able to secure the following odds if you bet right now, they are all currently on offer over at the Betfred betting site, so if you are not yet a customer of BetFred the sooner you sign up the sooner you will be able to take advantage of the odds I am about to reveal to you!

Upcoming BMW Championship Matches

You have three options when it comes to betting on any golf match in the BMW Championship outright, and those are obviously a bet on either golfer to win that match or that the match will end in a tie.

Just be aware that if you have never bet on a golf match in your life before, whilst the tie odds do look very appealing, it is fairly rare for a match to end that way, certainly when for example you compare the number of football matches that end in a draw to golf matches!

You are of course more than welcome to pick out any of the following matches to bet on and the odds you will see quoted on each possible outcome are available over at the Betfred betting site before each match begins, when those matches do begin the betting markets could switch over to being live in-play ones!

The Justin Thomas V Justin Rose match does look a perfectly balanced on, in fact both golfers are available to win at the same odds at Betfred those odds being 10/11, the tie for reference is available to back at odds of 16/1.

Moving onto the Brooks Koepka V Bryson Dechambeau match, once again their isn’t much separating each golfer to be fair, so it does look like a match that could go either way, as for the odds on that match you can back Brooks Koepka at 17/20, the Tie at 16/1 or back Bryson DeChambeau  at 19/20.

You may have your own opinion of just which of the two golfers in the Rory Mcilroy V Jordan Spieth match are going to come out on top and with Rory McIlroy at 5/6, the Tie at 16/1 and Jordan Spieth at even money, there is some value to be had no matter which golfer you think will win!

As for the Tiger Woods V Francesco Molinari match, I am aware this match has already been attracing a lot of money from punters well in advance of it starting.

However, the money is being bet in large volumes on both golfers so the odds are not as small on either of them as you may have thought they would be and you have the option of backing Tiger Woods at 10/11, the Tie at 16/1 and you may fancy having a punt on Francesco Molinari at 10/11.

One match I think is going to go the way of the favourite is the Tommy Fleetwood V Hideki Matsuyama match, and that favourite in case you are wondering is of course Tommy Fleetwood at even money, you can if you prefer opt to bet on the Tie at 16/1 or even have a bet on Hideki Matsuyama at 5/6.

One final match that is worth looking over at Betfred on their early betting market for the BMW Championship is the Cameron Smith V Marc Leishman match and the odds available at Cameron Smith at 10/11, the Tie at 16/1 or you may be on the mind that the most likely winner of that match will be Marc Leishman at 10/11.

Outright Betting on the BMW Championship

You can bet on any golfer to win the BMW Championship outright, or you can also bet on them each-way and by doing the latter at Betfred they will be offering you some very favourable each-way terms of one fifth the win odds on six places.

As for which golfers are fancied on the ante post betting market for this event at Betfred, it is Dustin Johnson at 8/1 who many punters are latching onto, however there is plenty of value to be had if you bet on the licks of Justin Rose at 12/1, and Justin Thomas or Brooks Koepka both on offer at 14/1.

As mentioned early there are some very famous golfers taking part in this golf tournament and some of them are obviously fairly well fancied to win it too, and as such you will have the opportunity of betting on Rory McIlroy and Bryson Dechambeau at 16/1 or you can bet on Jordan Spieth and Hideki Matsuyama at 18/1, in fact Tiger Woods at 22/1 looks a rock solid bet especially for each-way backers!

A few other golfers that may or may not tempt you to place a bet on them due to their respective odds over at Betfred include Tony Finau and Jason Day at 22/1 and there is certainly some value to be had by backing the likes or Francesco Molinari and Rickie Fowler at 25/1 or even Jon Rahm at 30/1 or Webb Simpson at 33/1!
