English Greyhound Derby Venue 2019 Betting

I have an interesting little bet that you may fancy playing today, and that is on where the new venue of the English Greyhound Derby is going to be located in 2019!

It may seem a long way off in the future, but the futures betting markets and also the novelty betting markets that Ladbrokes offer from time to time are always ones that you can place all manner of unusual bets on, and if you are a fan of greyhound racing this is sure to be a bet that will interest you.

Plus, if you are not yet a member of Ladbrokes then now is the ideal time to click on our links to take you to their site as a high valued sign up bonus will be coming your way when you do so, the details and terms and conditions of that offer can be found on their website.

Now, as far as where most punters think next year’s Greyhound Derby will be held is over at the Central Park greyhound track, and if that is where you think it will be held then it’s time to place a bet for Ladbrokes will give you odds of 6/4 on it being held there.

Could it be held the Towcester or Sheffield?

With the English Greyhound Derby being such a prestigious and major greyhound race, many greyhound tracks across Great Britain are very eager to have both the heats and the final race held at their respective tracks.

Two racks that do appear to have a much greater chance of being awarded the rights to hold that even are Towcester who are on offer at odds of 9/4 at Ladbrokes along with the Sheffield greyhound track too and their odds are 9/2

Other Potential Tracks to Bet On

The management team over at the Hove greyhound track will be hoping they are the nominated and chosen track for the English Greyhound Derby not only in 2019 but for many years ahead, and Ladbrokes seem to think that they do have a very fair and reasonable chance of being selected as they have them chalked up at odds of 9/2.

It could also be the Midland track over at Nottingham that could be chosen and the odds on it being Nottingham that host that race and the heats next year are 14/1.

In fact, the Newcastle greyhound track is also in the betting and that track is on offer at the same odds as Nottingham so it does have an outside chance of being selected at odds of 14/1 too.

If you are however of the mind that it will be at one of the many other greyhound tracks that the English Greyhound Derby will be stages next year then you can place a bet on it being so and the odds for any other track to be chosen are 20/1, but most punters are of the mind it will be Central Park that will be the one chosen.
