The hours are now ticking down until the final race of the Brighton Belle which is an annual set of races held over at the stunning if not aged Brighton and Hove Greyhound Stadium!
The race can be traced back to 1975 when Coral first sponsored it, and they have been doing so ever since, and having watched the heats you will have no doubt seen plenty of thrills and spills around the 515-metre sand track.
However, the final of the Brighton Belle will soon be upon us and with that in mind I am going to let you know where the smart money is going on that race, and if you do fancy betting on it then Paddy Power as always are giving the best odds on each of the greyhounds and are also offering one quarter of the win odds to two places on all each-way bets struck with them too
Donation does appear to be the greyhound that punters like the look of and they have certainly been backing it with great gusto, so much so the current odds available on that greyhound winning have never been so low, and those odds for reference are currently 4/6!
Can You Resist the 5/2 Odds on Ballymac Miscula?
It is not only Do nation that has bene attracting a fair amount of support on the ante post betting markets at Paddy Power for Ballymac Miscula has been very heavily back too.
From initial ante post odds of 7/1 punters have been backing it almost off the betting boards so to speak and as such you are going to find the best odds available on it winning are 5/2 and it is of course Paddy Power that are offering those odds, but for how long is anyone’s guess!
The Final Four Greyhounds
Rackethall Jess is next in the betting and that greyhound will, as it always does, run its own race, however whether it has what it takes to win the Brighton Belle final this year does remain to be seen, however if you do fancy its chances the odds of 7/1 at Paddy Power are there for the taking.
Everything is going to have to fall into place if Dodgers Drum is going to win this race for it is by no stretch of the imagination a fancied greyhound to win and that fact is obvious to see when you discover its win odds are high at 10/1!
The fact that Barricane Carina has made is through each of its heats to make it to the final of the Brighton Belle this year does mean it has a chance of winning albeit a small chance and the odds currently up for grabs at Paddy Power on it winning are 14/1.
The only other greyhound that could win this race this year is of course the sixth one in the betting, that greyhound is Cooly Bonita who probably won’t trouble any of those greyhounds named above as it is the rank outsider to win this race this year at odds of 25/1!
