Latest Betting on the RBC Heritage Golf Tournament

There are plenty of golf tournaments lined up for the weeks and months ahead, but the one most punters have their betting exploits tuned into right now is of course the RBC Heritage PGA Tour of which I will be giving you an insight into below.

That is of course a tournament that is played out over at the Harbour Town Golf Links course and the prize purse is a huge as it usually is, with this year the being a total of $6,900,000 in prize money being up for grabs. Keep in mind that each-way betting opportunities are currently available at betting sites such as BetFred who are paying out to three places this event at one quarter of the win odds too.

Whenever there is a golf tournament in play or about to start, many punters are simply going to be following the smart money, and currently there is one golfer that is attracting the most support, so much so that he is the odds-on favourite to win and that is Dustin Johnson at 5/4!

Ian Poulter is next in the betting at odds of 5/1, however with those quite favourable each-way betting terms available over at the BetFred betting site, it may be worth having a small punt on him each-way in the hope the does fill one of the top three spots of this golf tournament.

A Couple of 8/1 Shots Worth Checking Out

Apart from two other golfers, those also involved in this golf tournament are readily on offer at double digit odds at least, and plenty of golfers are available at triple digital odds too.

However, as for the names of a couple of entrants in this golf tournament that do have a very reasonable chance of being placed or possibly, if everything falls into place and goes their way winning it, they are Patrick Cantlay and Shane Lowry, who are easy to back right now to be fair at odds of 8/1

A Few Other Each-Way Possibilities

You can of course pick out as many golfers as you like if you want to back them to win or each-way and some of them to consider having a shrewd little each-way bet on include the likes of Rory Sabbatini at 12/1 and Matt Kuchar at 18/1.

There has been a little bit of support coming in for golfers such as Emiliano Grillo at 20/1 along with both Trey Mullinax and Scott Piercy at 22/1, and the next one in the betting so C.T. Pan at 28/1 who isn’t without a chance of getting placed in this tournament this year.

As for the rest of the field, well they are betting 40/1 bar, but please do check out the BetFred betting site if you fancy any of the outsiders as there are some huge odds on offer on some of the other lesser fancied golfers at their betting site.
