The matches played in Division 1 of the County Championship are always going to be offering cricket fans some fine displays of cricket, however there are plenty of teams in with a chance of winning the title this season!
The most money however is being played on Surrey and that has resulted in their odds of winning dropping down to just 8/15, however when you weigh everything up they do have one of the best chances of winning the title, much more so when you compare them to their competitors!
However, Somerset is not without a chance and their odds are 9/2 and the same could be said for Nottinghamshire who are available at slightly higher odds of 5/1.
The odds on Essex winning will tempt a few avid fans of theirs to place a bet and those odds are 8/1, but with the likes of Yorkshire and Hampshire being 25/1 you will have to be very hardened fans of either of those two cricket teams to have a bet on them.
Lancashire could if everything does fall into place win the title, but not many people think they will and betting site odds compilers think they have no chance of doing so too as they are offering odds of around the 33/1 on them winning, Worcestershire are the total outsiders at 200/1.
The Ashes 2019
Long term betting opportunities may be right up your street, and if you are a fan of Cricket then The Ashes in 2019 cannot come around quick enough! You can of course bet on that series now and if so and you fancy the chances of Australia you can secure odds of even money on them winning at Betfred.
In fact, Betfred are also going 11/8 on England winning and will give you odds of 5/1 on the series ending in a draw, and if you throw into the mix their welcome sign up bonus if you are not one of their customers there is some value to be had by both claiming that bonus and betting on The Ashes with them too!
Division 2
Warwickshire look a rock solid bet to win Division 2 and whilst their current odds are not massive being as they are 4/6, they are going to take some beating this season that is for sure!
Kent would appear are the only team with the skill and talent to beat Warwickshire and take the title this year and their odds are around the 15/8 mark, but shop around and compare their odds at different betting sites as some of them may be offering you slightly higher odds!
If you want to chance your arm and bet on some of the outsiders to win then consider betting on Sussex at 9/1, Leicestershire at 12/1 or even Middlesex at odds of 20/1. Derbyshire, Durham and Northamptonshire are 66/1 and Gloucestershire and Glamorgan are long shots at 100/1, but with odds that higher their chances of winning are low in fact most people will say tiny!
