The race to be crowned the title winners of the Championship this season does appear to be a two horse race so to speak, for a quick look at any bookies betting markets on that league title will see Leeds are the current favourite to win the title at odds of 10/11 and Norwich are on offer as the second favourites to win at odds of 10/3.
There is however always going to be the chance any of the other teams could suddenly improve on their current form and win the title, however that does to be fair look a little unlikely but then again anything can happen of course.
Bookies such as Coral do offer their customers the option of backing any team they fancy each way, and as such half of that bet will cover the team you hope will win the league title and the other half of that bet will cover your team to finish in first of second place in the league.
As for the payouts on such a bet, well you will of course get the full odds you secured when placing such a bet if your team does win, and on the second part of that bet Coral will give you one third of the win odds if you team finishes in first or second spot in the league at the end of the season too.
Each-Way Betting Possibilities
If you take the above first and second favourites out of the equation and for whatever reason you are convinced that neither of them is going to fill one of the top two spots in the league at the end of the season, then there is still some value for each-way punters for sure.
However, there are only two other teams that could realistically make it into one of the top two positions this season, and they are Sheffield Utd and West Brom, and you can back either of them currently at odds of 11/2.
Huge Odds on All Other Teams
Those of you out there that are avid supporter of any of the other teams playing in the Championship may fancy backing your team out of loyalty and if so then those teams that are not mentioned up above can be backed as some huge odds.
Take for example the likes of Middlesbrough they are very easy to back at odds of 20/1 as too are Derby who can be backed at even higher odds of 25/1 and then you have teams such as Aston Villa who are on offer at odds of 66/1.
Bristol City and Nottingham Forest are outsiders for their odds currently are into three digits at 100/1 and on offer at some even bigger odd you have teams such as Birmingham, Hull and Swansea who fans of any of those teams may be tempted to back now they are up for grabs at odds as high as 200/1, and then there is Blackburn, Brentford and no hopers QPR who are 250/1 and finally Stoke on offer at odds of 500/1!
