Mauritius Open Outright Betting

You are going to have some very reasonable each-way betting terms on offer to you if you fancy backing one of the golfers taking part in the Mauritius Open this week and over the weekend, for Paddy Power are paying out to five places at one fifth of the win odds on each-way bets.

However, there are of course plenty of golfers that are taking part in the tournament, and as such you will have to think long and hard as to just which ones you back, if any!

But one golfer that is heading the market and has been attracting a fair bit of early support is Victor Perez and if you do fancy his chances, and the way he has been playing recently I am sure plenty of you out there will fancy his chance you can back him at generous odds of 9/2.

The odds compilers at Paddy Power have been having something of a hard time trying to work out just which golfer to pencil is as the second favourite to win this tournament, so much so they have made two golfers the joint second favourites to win it and those golfers are Jordan Smith and Matthias Schwab who can be backed at odds of 9/1!

Dylan Frittelli is another highly talented golfer, and whether he is going to perform well in this golf tournament does of course remain to be seen. However, if you are of the mind he is going to win then there is no Doubt in my mind that you will find the 12/1 odds on offer on him doing just that at Paddy Power enticing to say the least!

I would also advise you to take a look at the recent form of golfers such as Lee Slattery and also Jaco Van Zyl for to be fair to both of them it wouldn’t take either of them to improve on that recent form for them to play a major part in this golf tournament, and the 14/1 attached to them are certainly fair and appealing too.

The same could of course also be said for Kurt Kitayama, but he isn’t as popular with punters as those two other golfers and as such you are going to be able to bag slightly higher odds on him winning this golf tournament and those odds are currently around the 16/1 mark.

It is of course your decision to make as to just which golfers if any you do fancy backing to win outright or want to back each-way in this major golf tournament, but just do keep in mind the higher the odds on each golfer the lower their chances are of winning it.

That said George Coetzee is available at 20/1 and you can back the likes of Matthieu Pavon and Chikkarangappa S at 22/1 and some 28/1 shots that could be worth backing are Justin Harding, Masahiro Kawamura, Jbe Kruger and Trevor Fisher Jnr.

Outsiders and No Hopers to Win!

I doubt that any of the remaining golfers are going to trouble or worry any of those named above that are taking part in the golf tournament, but you do have the option of pocking out and betting on any golfers you do like and fancy the chances of.

So let me now give you an overview and insight into some of the outsider and complete no hopers to win the Mauritius Open this year, and you never know you may just fancy the chances of some of them and will certainly be offered high valued odds on each of them too.

Ernie Els, Keith Horne and Alex Haindl are 33/1 shots and as for the chances of Oliver Bekker well to be perfectly honest he is rather easy to back right now at odds of 35/1.

You may however fancy the chances of some of the current 40/1 and if so then you will need to know just who those golfers are and they are Thomas Aiken, Romain Langasque and Hyowon Park.

The bigger the odds the lesser the chance the bookies think golfers will have of winning any golf tournament and with odds of 50/1 attached on golfers such as David Drysdale, Yikeun Chang and Paul Peterson it does appear Paddy Power think not of them are going to perform good enough in this golf tournament to win it!

Nicolas Colsaerts, Richard Sterne and Clement Sordet may play well and if you are of the mind they will then how can you resist their current odds which are high at 66/1?

John Catlin, Alvaro Quiros, Kim Koivu, Joachim B. Hansen, Gavin Moynihan and Hennie Otto are all friendless in the betting markets and can be backed with great ease at odds of 80/1 and as for 100/1 you will find more than enough of them if you do want to try for a potentially huge winning payout.

Those 100/1 shots for reference include the likes of golfers such as Fabrizio Zanotti, Christiaan Bezuidenhout, Berry Henson, Travis Smyth, Jaco Ahlers, Jens Dantorp, Ajeetesh Sandhu and Viraj Madappa but do take a good look over the Paddy Power betting market on this event, as there are plenty of other golfers available at odds of 100/1 too!

There are still plenty of other golfers that are going to be taking their chances in this golf tournament, however their respective odds are going to be huge, and I would therefore advise you to consider backing any of them you fancy over at the Betfair betting site.

The reason for me advising you do that, is when it comes to the complete outsider and supposed no hopers to win any golf tournament, that betting exchange and the users that choose to use it will be offering you much higher odds on average than any betting site will be offering you.

So, if you haven’t yet do so head on over and take a look at just how high those odds on the outsiders and no hopers will be, as you will be impressed when you do just that!
