The 2018 running of the Tour de France was amazing and if you did watch each individual stage of the race progress live on TV then you will have probably come to the conclusion that the best man did win, for Geraint Thomas did show his natural abilities on each stage of that race.
There is of course a very good chance that he could also win that event next year too and if you are the type of punter who is looking for value and is never afraid of backing a range of sporting legends well in advance of the events they are taking part in next, then now would be a good time to bet on the Tour de France 2019 early betting markets.
By doing so you are going to find that it is indeed Geraint Thomas who is heading those early betting markets and if you are prepared to back him today you will be able to secure odds of him winning hat event in 2019 at odds of 2/1.
There will be two other riders itching to win next year and they are of course Chris Froome at 9/4 and also the multi-talented Tom Dumoulin at 5/2.
Riders to Consider Backing Each-Way
Primoz Roglic at 9/2 and Richie Porte at 8/1 are two riders that I think could be worth investing in and backing each-way on the Tour de France in 2019, as they may just manage to fill one of the top positions in that event next year.
Also with three places being paid at one quarter of the win odds on each way bets then that does also bring into the reckoning riders are some much higher odds including but not limited to the likes of Vincenzo Nibali at 20/1, and both Nairo Quintana and Miguel Angel Lopez at 25/1 too!
Place a Few Speculative Bets
Placing a few speculative punts here and there on the Tour de France 2019 is always going to be exciting, for with some massive odds available on all of the lesser fancied runners right now at this early stage of the betting markets there is no doubt in my mind you will be licking in plenty of value when backing the likes of Mikel Landa at 28/1 or even Egan Arley Bernal and Simon Yates at 33/1.
It could of course be the case that a rider available currently at some even bigger odds could come out on top and if that is something you fancy investigating then allow me to introduce to you to Rigoberto Uran, Romain Bardet and Fabio Aru who are all currently on offer at some tempting odds of 40/1.
Never let the fact that a rider is currently available at some huge odds on the ante post and early betting markets put you off backing them and with that in mind consider placing a bet on Steven Kruijswijk and Thibaut Pinot at 66/1 or backing Adam Yates, Adam and Daniel Martin at 80/1 too.
