Betting on the Tour De France is something I do know many of you out there will be eager to do, however you are going to have to get your skates on if you want to take advantage of the early betting markets, for they are of course going to very switch over to live-play ones.
One rider that many punters have been pinning their hopes on is Bernal, and such is his form and the amount of cash that has been coming in for him his odds are now not that appealing to be honest at 2/1, but those odds are out there and there for the taking if you do rate him.
Moving onto the next rider in the betting, well that is of course Thomas, and he too has been attracting some hefty bets over the last few weeks, and that has resulted in his odds dropping down to just 5/2.
As you are possibly going to fancy some of the other riders to come out on top this year, I will now move my attention to some other riders that are in with a chance of winning, albeit a much lower chance than the first or second favourites.
3 Places Paid Each-Way
You could prefer reducing your chance of losing by instead of backing any rider to win the Tour De France outright, back them each-way instead, and different bookies will offer different each-way betting terms.
Some of the best valued each-way betting terms will see you being paid out to three places, and also being paid out at one quarter the win odds that you took when placing that bet on the place part of such an each-way bet.
Each-Way Betting Possibilities
There is a 5/1 shot that I do feel is going to be attractive to many of you out there looking for any type of value betting on the Tour De France this year and that is Fuglsang who could just win this race but will need everything to fall his way to do so, and his odds right now are 5/1.
Much bigger odds are available on every other rider competing in the Tour De France this year, and I will leave it up to you as to whether it is going to be worth having a speculative punt on any of them, but one that does offer some each-way value right now is Yates at 12/1.
Moving onto some of the other riders that are possibly going to be worth having a small each-way bet on, well you cannot underestimate riders such as Porte and Quintana both trading at 16/1 and there is always the chance that Pinot could up his game this year and come out on top or fill one of the top three positions and backing him now will see you picking up odds of 18/1, then there are two riders that are both 20/1 right now and they are Bardet and Kruijswijk.
